Accessibility statement

Conformance status

This website is fully conformant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. WCAG 2.2 is also published as the international standard ISO/IEC 40500:2025. It thereby also meets the web requirements of the European standard EN 301 549 (clause 9).

Fully conformant means that the content meets the standard without exceptions. The conformance is self-assessed; no certification body was involved.

What that means in practice

• Everything works with the keyboard alone, in a logical order, with a clearly visible focus ring and a "skip to content" link.
• Text and controls meet the AA contrast ratios in both the light and the dark theme.
• Pages can be zoomed to 400 % and used at 320 px width without horizontal scrolling or lost content.
• Animations respect the "reduce motion" system setting, and the header has a button to pause them at any time.
• Interactive targets are at least 24 × 24 CSS pixels, or have enough space around them that they cannot be hit by mistake (WCAG 2.5.8).
• Pages have meaningful titles, headings, landmarks and language attributes; images have text alternatives or are marked as decorative.
• The cookie banner can be operated with the keyboard and screen readers, and it never hides the element that has focus.

Known limitations

• The animated 3D planet on the home page is decorative. It is hidden from assistive technology and stops moving when motion is reduced.
• The Tetris game in the browser console is a hidden easter egg for developers. It is not part of the content and is not designed for screen readers.
• Linked external websites (for example client or LinkedIn pages) are outside my control and may not meet the same standard.

How this was checked

Every page was tested in all three languages (English, German, Hungarian) and in both colour themes: automated checks with axe-core and Lighthouse, followed by manual checks of keyboard navigation, focus order and visibility, zoom and reflow, reduced motion, target sizes and text alternatives. The results are re-checked with every larger change to the site.

• RFC 9116: a security contact is published at /.well-known/security.txt, following the vulnerability disclosure approach of ISO/IEC 29147.
• ISO 8601, ISO 639-1 and ISO 3166-1 for dates, language and country codes (for example "de-AT").
• schema.org structured data, so search engines understand who is behind the site.
